Charley Jolly will share his unique approach to watercolor and the painting techniques he uses on the very interesting surface, Yupo Paper. He will demonstrate how to achieve the rich color and high contrast for which he is known.

Charley Jolly is a regionally known painter and exhibiting artist. His work first appeared in the UK Art Museum show “Kentucky Art 1983”. His work regularly found in Kentucky Watercolor Society’s “Aqueous” show, Lexington Art League’s “The Nude” shows, and Artists’ Attic “The Twenty” shows. He has taught watercolor in workshop settings for 25 years and is known for his low key and basic approach to successful watercolors. You can see Charley’s art work on his website: cjolly.com
